Priyanka Chopra wears a daring birthday gown; Nick Jonas and friends share photos

Priyanka Chopra turned 40 on Monday, and she made the most of her special occasion. The actor celebrated her 40th birthday on a beach vacation, with husband Nick Jonas overseeing the finer details to ensure it was memorable. He has now shared a slew of photos from the festivities.

Nick Jonas captioned the photos on Instagram, “Happiest birthday to my (heart emoticon) the jewel of July.” I’m honored to be along for this wild ride called life with you. I adore you.

The couple is kissing on the beach in the first photo. Priyanka is wearing a knee-length yellow dress with a matching bandana, while Nick is wearing a black tee and shorts. In the second photo, Priyanka is looking at the camera while dining with Nick at a restaurant. She is seen holding a placard that reads, ‘Happy birthday Priyanka 80’s baby.’ It is followed by a photo of Nick wearing another custom-made cloth piece for the actor that reads, ‘Priyanka! The jewel of July est. 1982.’ The final image, in which the couple is looking at the firecrackers lit on her birthday, is the best of all. They’re standing with their backs to the camera, Priyanka in a red gown and Nick in a matching suit.

A remark was left on the picture of Nick carrying the flag by one of his admirers, which read as follows: “Aww. Favorites!” Nicholas, the 3 picture is the one that took first place. Another devoted follower exclaimed, “That is so incredible, queen!” “Happy birthday to you!” Congratulations on your special day! Another person chimed on, “My heart is melting!! @priyankachopra, I hope you have a wonderful birthday with your beautiful wife.”

Anjula Acharia, Priyanka’s manager, also shared a photo with her and a birthday message. “@priyankachopra,” it said. Happy birthday, sweetie! What a joy it has been to spend these days with you celebrating the incredible woman that you are. Many people look up to you and get ideas from what you do. I’m honored to have you as a sister, friend, and business partner. God bless you, and you will undoubtedly slay the next decade!! Thank you for your love and kindness, @nickjonas jiju.”

This was Priyanka’s first birthday following the birth of her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. Surrogacy was used to deliver the child. The actor also has a busy schedule, with several projects on the horizon, including the web series Citadel, the films Ending Things and It’s All Coming Back To Me, and the Bollywood film Jee Le Zaraa.
