Vikrant Rona box office collection Day 2: Sudeep’s film experiences a huge decline in Hindi belt
After a solid first day in the Hindi belt, Kiccha Sudeep’s action movie Vikrant Rona had a significant drop in its box office haul on Friday. This week’s Bollywood release, Ek Villain Returns, starring Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria, competed with the film.
According to Pinkvilla, Vikrant Rona made Rs 1 crore on Thursday, while its collection in the Hindi belt decreased by 25% on Friday. On Friday, it earned Rs 75 lakhs, which is comparable to Kamal Haasan’s Vikram, which earned Rs 70 lakhs on its second day in North India. The drop in Vikrant Rona’s second-day numbers casts doubt on its viability in the northern zone. The film was presented in its original language, Hindi, by Salman Khan.
This drop in box office numbers could also be attributed to the film’s generally poor reviews from film reviewers. “The muddled plot and clunky language of this Kiccha Sudeep-starrer ruin the experience,” she noted in her 1.5-star assessment. The wit is forced. Jacqueline Fernandez appears out of nowhere for an item number in which her athletic bounce leaves nothing to the imagination.”
Anup Bhandari directed Vikrant Rona, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Nirup Bhandari, and Neetha Ashok. It was released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, and other languages such as English, Arabic, German, Russian, and Mandarin.
