Salman Khan joked a few weeks after it was said that he charged hundreds of crores to host the reality show Bigg Boss that he never got that money. Tuesday evening in Mumbai was the launch event for Bigg Boss 16, where he spoke. The premiere is scheduled for October 1 on the Colors TV channel.
During the launch event, Salman and Bigg Boss discussed the advertisement stating that Bigg Boss will participate in the game this year. Bigg Boss praised the host’s work and his charisma.
Bigg Boss has confirmed that he will play the game but will not appear on camera. When told he is handsome, Salman responded, “Thank you, Bigg Boss, but I would have looked twice as handsome if you could have viewed it with two eyes” (jokingly referring to the show’s icon, a single eye). Salman added that Bigg Boss will engage in mental games this year and that his intelligence will be on display during this season.
Bigg Boss assured Salman that he will pull up contestants this time, and everyone should be wary of the show’s unpredictability. In addition, he informed Salman that he may not be able to relax at all, adding that the actor has been associated with the game for the past 12 years.
In a whisper, the actor thanked Bigg Boss and added, “Those 1 billion that I was rumored to receive this year, I was about to return. I was about to return the money I never received, resulting in Colors’ complete profit.”
In addition, Bigg Boss informed Salman and the audience that the weekend special episodes have been rescheduled. Typically, Salman appeared on Saturday and Sunday episodes. This season, Salman will appear on the program on Fridays and Saturdays.
