Janhvi Kapoor posted on her Instagram Stories, “Congratulations on being India’s official Oscar nominee! “This is enormous, I’m so pleased!” Ananya Pandey penned, “India’s official Oscar entry! Last Film Show… wow… what a moment of pride and awe. Congratulations…” In her Instagram Stories, director-choreographer Farah Khan also congratulated the film’s cast and crew. Numerous celebrities, including Radhika Madan, Angad Bedi, and others, also posted the trailer on Instagram.
Chhello Show, directed by Pan Nalin, tells the story of nine-year-old Samay, who lives in the Saurashtra village of Chalala. It is set against the backdrop of the transition from celluloid to digital film in Indian cinemas. Bhavin Rabari, Bhavesh Shrimali, Richa Meena, Dipen Raval, and Paresh Mehta star in the film.
