Jhanak Shukla of “Kal Ho Naa Ho” gets engaged and shares photos of her roka ceremony: ‘Finally making it official’

Actress Jhanak Shukla became famous as a child star on the TV show Karisma Ka Karishma and in Karan Johar’s movie Kal Ho Na Ho. She is now engaged to her longtime boyfriend Swapnil Suryawanshi. She posted pictures of her roka ceremony on social media. The actor Supriya Shukla, who is Jhanak’s mother, also posted a picture of the roka ceremony on her Instagram profile.

In one picture, Jhanak and Swapnil are holding a floral bouquet while laughing. Jhanak was wearing a pink salwaar suit with a yellow dupatta. Swapnil, on the other hand, was just wearing a simple kurta.

Supriya Shukla also posted photos from the roka ceremony with the caption, “My home is one nanhi pari…. (God sent me a little angel.) God’s grace makes the family grow… Since Swapnil and his parents are now a family… At home, there was a Roka. With love and prayers.. Thank you, God. Our ancestors’ love pours down on us from above as a blessing. Our children are lucky to be able to share this special time with my friends, my Instagram family, and everyone who loves me and wishes the best for me and my family. Jhanak took a break from show business when she was 15 years old. In an interview with Brut in 2021, she said that she would have already missed out on a “normal” life if she had kept acting. “I was an extrovert because I was out and about a lot. I’m the opposite now. I’m very silent. After a while, I thought, “Okay, too many people are coming up to me.” I also liked that. But I felt like I needed my own space sometimes. If I were acting now, I wouldn’t mind because I like strolling on streets. So, that would have been really hard,” she said.

Jhanak Shukla posted pictures of her roka ceremony on social media. The actor Supriya Shukla, who is Jhanak’s mother, also posted a picture of the roka ceremony on her Instagram account.
