We are all aware of how good Shehnaaz Gill voice is. The actor and singer recently got a lot of attention for her song “Dil Kya Irada Tera” from the movie “Patna Shukla.” After that, she gave her fans another song called Dhup Lagdi, which featured her and Sunny Singh. The star went to the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai to ask Lord Ganesha to bless her after the song came out on April 8.
In a post on her Instagram account on Monday, Shehnaaz Gill showed herself praying for blessings at the holy temple grounds. Gill is seen holding a picture of Lord Ganesha in the shot. The Bigg Boss 13 contestant wrote “Ganpati Bappa Moryaa” under the picture.
The actress wore a simple off-white traditional kurta set with an orange dupatta that was highly embellished. She smiled and looked happy as she went on her holy visit. In the video clip, she also asked for blessings at the temple and then gave prasad and sweets to the photographers.
That same day, Gill posted the song on Instagram with a text message to go with it. The writing said, “All of ‘Dhup Lagdi’ is filled with the happiness of true love.” The whole song is now out. The story of Dhup Lagdi is about farmers in a small town who have to move to find work after storms destroy their crops. It shows how painful and miserable it is for women to say goodbye to their dads and husbands as they move to cities to find work. Sunny Singh played a farmer in the video, and Gill played her partner.
Along with her work in singing, Shehnaaz Gill is also getting ready for her next project, which is a movie called Ranna Ch Dhanna directed by Amarjit Saron. Along with Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa, she will be seen in the movie. Besides that, she has been cast in director Balwinder Singh Janjua’s Sab First Class, which stars Varun Sharma.
