Taapsee Pannu signs up for Telugu film ‘Mishan Impossible’

Taapsee Pannu, who made her acting debut in Telugu with the film “Jhummandi Naadam,” is returning to her origins. The actress has agreed to star in the Telugu drama ‘Mishan Impossible.’ A poster showing Taapsee in a less-than-glamorous avatar was used to make the announcement. Swaroop RSJ, who earlier directed the Telugu film ‘Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya,’ will direct this film. ‘Mishan Impossible,’ directed by Niranjan Reddy and produced by Anvesh Reddy, stars Taapsee Pannu in the major role. Taapsee will appear in a Telugu film for the first time in a long time. ‘Neevevaro,’ her last Telugu film, was released in 2018.

Taapsee Pannu and her sister Shagun Pannu just returned from a vacation in Russia. Taapsee had shared gorgeous photos from her vacation on Instagram, giving followers a look inside her trip journal. Taapsee’s travel wardrobe was equally impressive, with patterned maxi dresses and saree mastery. Returning from her hiatus, Taapsee Pannu will leave Mumbai shortly for Ajay Bahl’s upcoming thriller, ‘Section 35.’ She will fly to Uttarakhand later this month and begin filming for the film around July 20. The filmmakers have written to the Uttarakhand government requesting permission to begin filming, as the project requires such a location.

Apart from that, Taapsee will star in the biography of cricketer Mithali Raj, which is currently being directed by Srijit Mukherji. She has put forth a lot of effort to prepare for her role as a cricketer in ‘Shabaash Mithu.’ “We had just filmed a few cricketing sequences of the time when Mithali was ready to play international cricket,” Taapsee had earlier told SeetaGeeta about her film. So, before we resume filming, I need to brush up on my cricketing abilities and reclaim my peak. Most of the producers with whom I work are having their crews vaccinated before they start working. So, perhaps, things will go more smoothly when we restart. I’ve been waiting for shooting in Mumbai to resume.”
