Shraddha Kapoor, Jim Sarbh, Maria Goretti, Amrita Puri, Anushka Manchanda, and Shibani Dandekar have collaborated on a documentary to raise awareness about the condition of stray animals. The documentary The Tails of Boo-Boo & Cuddly Poo explores the situation of stray animals, focusing on abuse, abandonment, rescue, and love. Salil Jason Fernandez, a filmmaker, and Vandana Sethi, the founder of Water Communications and Earth Films, have collaborated to bring this film to reality. The documentary’s two-minute trailer, which was released today, offers an overview of the film.
The documentary also features Samir Kochhar, Cyrus Broacha, Sapna Bhavnani, Shaheen Bhatt, Atul Khatri, and Scherezade Shroff, as well as thirty organizations including WFA, IDA, YODA, WSD, BSPCA, and TSPCA, and was shot fully during the lockdown.
“It was an honor to be a part of the documentary, and I hope it raises awareness about the suffering of stray animals, especially now that the monsoon season is in full swing. Shylo (her pet) is such an important part of my life that I can’t fathom not having him. Shraddha Kapoor said, “I’d like everyone to have that happiness in their lives.”
“My life changed when Mimi stepped into it; she’s been my cause for sanity during the lockdown,” Jim Sarbh continued. I believe that everyone should adopt an animal and provide them with love and home since the love you receive in return is immeasurable.”
“Our goal is to raise awareness and send a message about the plight of stray animals,” said the group. This is a collaborative effort including numerous organizations and individuals, and the entire production is free of charge, meaning that everyone involved in front of and behind the camera has waived their cost. Vandana Sethi, Founder, Water Communications and Earth Films, remarked, “It is truly a passion-driven film and a labor of love for the voiceless.”
“We’d like to think we’ve created a one-of-a-kind documentary story with a unique style that combines non-fiction talking heads with diverse fiction aspects. The documentary’s global theme is to love and accept stray dogs and cats, and the trailer encapsulates that concept. We will have hit gold if we are able to educate and excite the public in this regard.” Salil Jason Fernandez is the creator and director of the film.
