Ahmed Khan, the choreographer-turned-director, is back on set, preparing for the next several schedules of his film ‘Heropanti 2.’ Ahmed is now in charge of the set construction at Royal Palms in Goregaon. “Keeping in mind the current government restrictions, I am planning to shoot the film in short schedules so that the unit is tested after every fourth day before the next schedule begins,” he explains.
To ensure that the team follows all rules, Ahmed will avoid shooting action sequences. “We need to minimize congestion on sets, so we won’t be filming action scenes,” he adds. “Instead, we’ll be canning short sequences, including shots in a residence and some quick takes in an embassy.”
Before the second lockdown was announced, the crew had completed the first schedule of ‘Heropanti 2.’ The unit intends to travel abroad for the following several schedules after filming in Mumbai. Given the increased scrutiny of international certifications for Indian vaccinations, crew members traveling overseas may face difficulties. As the narrative goes to seven nations, including the United States, England, Russia, Germany, Turkey, and Italy, this might make things difficult for the ‘Heropanti 2′ squad. The team will shoot a huge action sequence in Russia, followed by a song, according to reports. It has been reported that International stunt designers like Martin Ivano, who has worked on films like Skyfall (2012), The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), and The Bourne Supremacy (2007), have been engaged by the filmmakers (2004).
Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria star in ‘Heropanti 2,’ while AR Rahman is composing the film’s music. The film is a sequel to Tiger and Kriti Sanon’s debut, ‘Heropanti,’ which was released in 2014.
