Amitabh Bachchan wishes Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding ‘love, luck, and light’

Amitabh Bachchan wished Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor the best as they began their wedding festivities in Mumbai.
Amitabh Bachchan took to Instagram on Wednesday to wish Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor as the couple began their pre-wedding festivities. Big B, who co-stars in Brahmastra with Alia and Ranbir, uploaded the film’s ‘Kesariya’ video.

“Wishing beloved Isha and Shiva all the Love, Luck, and Light as they prepare to go on a very important adventure in the coming days,” he captioned it. Let’s get the party started with something unique from Team Brahmstra. ”

Rakesh Roshan, a veteran actor-director, also expressed his best wishes to the pair, telling ETimes that he wishes them a “happy marriage.” Rakesh and Ranbir’s late father, Rishi Kapoor, were close friends.

Earlier that evening, Ranbir’s mother, Neetu Kapoor, and sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, confirmed the wedding date and location to photographers. Alia and Ranbir’s wedding is expected to take place on Thursday at the Vastu flat in Bandra.

Alia and Ranbir had a pre-wedding Haldi and Mehendi ceremony on Wednesday for their family and close friends. The event was attended by Amitabh Bachchan Mahesh Bhatt, Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt, Rahul Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Aadar Jain, Rima Jain, Ayan Mukerji, and Karan Johar.

It has been believed that Ranbir and Alia’s wedding will be a private but opulent occasion, followed by a spectacular reception at which the pair will entertain their film industry friends and colleagues.
