ANNABELLE RATHORE Official Hindi Trailer (2021) | Taapsee Pannu | Vijay Sethupathi
Annabelle RATHORE Sethupathi movie review: In Deepak Sundarrajan’s horror-comedy, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Taapsee Pannu gets the meatier role.
Annabelle Sethupathi, the newest Tamil film by Taapsee Pannu and Vijay Sethupathi, begins as a horror thriller, but it cleverly turns all cliches connected with the genre on their heads by including a fantasy aspect regarding the notion of reincarnation. It revolves around a group of spirits that are imprisoned in a palace and hoping to be let free. It would have been a dull event if it had been a typical horror film about a few spirits seeking vengeance. Deepak Sundarrajan, a novice filmmaker, presents the picture as a fantasy comedy with a strong ensemble.
The tale revolves around a massive palace erected for King Veera Sethupathi (Vijay Sethupathibride )’s Annabelle (Taapsee Pannu). Sethupathi brought in the greatest masons from all over the globe to create a one-of-a-kind castle, but its opulence attracts the attention of certain nefarious forces. A few years later, the palace is inhabited by a group of individuals who have turned into ghosts as a result of a curse that prevents them from leaving.
The writing, direction, and performances are theatrical, making the film look heavily dated. The background score constantly attempts to make us believe something highly hilarious is happening on screen. But no, it’s just the same tricks over and over again. The dubbing is also off sync in many places.
