The Narcotics Control Bureau detained a drug pusher on Monday in Mumbai in connection with the VVIP drug bust. Aryan Khan drug case and apply for bail today.
According to ANI, a drug supplier was apprehended following a series of searches in Bandra, Andheri, and Lokhandwala late on Sunday and Monday nights.
The NCB has already arrested all eight people held in connection with the Mumbai cruise party raid on Sunday. The Esplanade Court in Mumbai remanded three accused, including Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, Arbaz Seth Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha, to NCB custody until today.
Satish Maneshinde, Aryan Khan’s lawyer, stated that his client was invited to the function on the cruise by the organizers. “He has not been found in possession of any incriminating evidence (Aryan Khan). There is no indication of usage or possession “he stated
“Although the sections under which Aryan Khan has been charged are all bailable offenses,” Maneshinde stated, “I am willing to settle for one day of NCB custody so that we can seek for bail before the normal court.”
The star kid’s bail hearing will be held today afternoon. Reports state that while Aryan Khan drug case was taken into custody, nothing was found on him and hence, he was booked only on consumption charges.
The NCB on Sunday said it had evidence to show the existence of a nexus between the persons it had arrested, suppliers and peddlers of drugs, in connection with the seizure of banned drugs onboard the cruise ship.
Other defendants Nupur Satija, Ishmeet Singh Chadha, Mohawk Jaiswal, Gromit Chopra, and Vikrant Chhokar have been detained and will appear in court today after undergoing medical examinations.
