The ‘Baahubali: Before The Beginning’ series made headlines a few months ago when the director who was supposed to direct it left or was fired. Mrunal Thakur reportedly walked away from the project because the producers didn’t like a lot of what he’d given them. While the identity of the filmmaker has yet to be released, we discovered that it is Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy, who is renowned for films such as ’99 Songs’ (2019), ‘Bring on the Night’ (2012), and ‘The Untitled Kartik Krishnan Project.’
The program is finally back on track, albeit with some significant modifications. According to SeetaGeeta, the megaphone is now being wielded by two directors. Despite the fact that Mrunal has not returned to the project of the Baahubali series, pre-production work has resumed. We can now affirm that the project’s directors, Kunal Deshmukh and Ribhu Dasgupta, are presently working on it. Deshmukh has directed films like ‘Jannat’, ‘Jannat 2’, and ‘Shiddat,’ and Dasgupta just directed Parineeti Chopra’s ‘The Girl On The Train.’
