‘Bhediya’ : a horror comedy,Varun Dhawan has wrapped the film

Varun Dhawan has completed filming on his forthcoming horror comedy “Bhediya,” and the actor has described the experience as “amazing.” “Bhediya” is part of producer Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe, which also includes Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor’s “Stree” and Rao, Janhvi Kapoor, and Varun Sharma in “Roohi.”

The film is directed by Amar Kaushik, who also directed “Bala,” and the script is written by Niren Bhatt, who is best known for writing “Asur” and the long-running TV serial “Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma.”

“Bhediya,” which also stars Kriti Sanon, Abhishek Banerjee, Deepak Dobriyal, and Paalin Kabak, is slated to hit theatres on April 14, 2022.

Bhediya, directed by Amar Kaushik, is the third film in Dinesh Vijan’s Horror-Comedy Universe, following Stree and Roohi. Kriti Sanon, who plays the film’s female protagonist, has already done her part. Deepak Dobriyal and Abhishek Banerjee also have significant parts in the movie.

Varun turned to social media to share a photo of himself in a mirror selfie, showing off his muscular body as the film came to a close.

The film’s production began in March of this year in Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh.

The filming was supposed to wrap in May, but it was stopped owing to the second wave of the coronavirus. Bhediya, Varun’s debut film in the genre, is likely to have a lot of VFX and prosthetics.

Jio Studios and Vijan’s Maddock Films are presenting the film.
