Bhuj: The Pride of India, a film about the Indo-Pak conflict, will be released online on August 13th. Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharad Kelkar, Ammy Virk, and Nora Fatehi feature in the film.
This Abhishek Dudhaiya film is based on true events from the 1971 Indo-Pak conflict when Pakistan launched Operation Chenghiz Khan against the Bhuj air station. According to the trailer for the film, the Bhuj airport was bombed 35 times in 14 days. The wording in the film stated, “Attacked by 92 bombs and 22 rockets.”
The trailer for the film will be released on July 12th.
“This heroic narrative has to be told because we want the present and future generations to know about this brave man, Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, who played a vital part in India’s triumph in the 1971 war,” producer Bhushan Kumar said in a statement. He was brave enough to incur the risk of engaging people in a conflict. Also, who better to play Vijay Karnik than Ajay Devgn?”
The film is inspired by the story of the courageous IAF Squadron Vijay Karnik, who was in command of the Bhuj airport, and how he reconstructed a complete IAF airbase with the aid of 300 women from a nearby hamlet in Madhapar to protect our country during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
Apart from announcing the film’s release date, the producers have also released its motion poster, which promises strong action sequences, heart-pounding emotions, love, and passion for our nation, as well as a mission that unites many courageous Bhuj residents together for triumph.
On July 12, the film’s trailer will be released. Under the name of Select Media Holdings LLP, Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Ginny Khanuja, Vajir Singh, and Bunny Sanghavi produce ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India,’ which is presented by T-Series and Ajay Devgn Films.
