Karan Johar’s Brahmastra: Part One: Shiva is breaking box office records as the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt film gathered between Rs 12.75 crore and Rs 13.3 crore on its fifth day of release. This brings the film’s total anticipated earnings to approximately Rs 150.50 crore. This is the third Ranbir-starring film to surpass Rs 150 crores, following Sanju and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
Out of the total of Rs 150 crore, Rs 132.50 crore came from the Hindi version, while Rs 17.50 crore came from the south dubbed version. Although the box office results are highly encouraging, Brahmastra still has a great deal of potential.
For the most recent Ranbir Kapoor film to break even at the box office, it will require over Rs 370 crore. Disney has purchased the satellite and internet rights to the picture for approximately Rs 150 crore. Meanwhile, about 3.3 million tickets for the film have been sold via BookMyShow, contributing around 53% of the film’s opening weekend box office earnings.
