Brahmastra collection day 7: Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s film is expected to surpass Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, surpassing Rs 300 crore internationally

Brahmastra

Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji, is anticipated to surpass Rs 200 crore in the coming days, after grossing Rs 170 crore in its first week of release in India. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the fantasy drama starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt earned an estimated Rs 9.25 crore on its seventh day in theatres. This is the year’s best opening-week performance for a Hindi film. Ayan announced on Instagram that the film had grossed more than Rs 300 crore in its first week of release worldwide. There has been a disagreement in the film’s box office data.

According to the report, weekly declines have been “on the greater side.” Brahmastra was also released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, in addition to Hindi. RRR director SS Rajamouli delivered the South Indian language versions of the film, which grossed roughly 20 crore rupees.

According to reports, Brahmastra is performing like a Marvel superhero film, meaning that it will attract the majority of its audience on weekends, while weekdays will experience declines. Multiplex viewers continue to be the major demographic for the film, which is losing single screen audiences.

In the coming days, Brahmastra will surpass Kartik Aaryan’s horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (Rs 221 crore) to become the second-highest grossing Hindi film of the year, behind only the controversial The Kashmir Files (nearly Rs 300 crore). However, although The Kashmir Files and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 were made on substantially smaller budgets, Brahmastra reportedly cost Rs 410 crore to make. Obviously, the breakeven figure is even higher, meaning that the picture will rely on ancillary revenue to produce a profit. The film is currently projected to earn approximately Rs 250 crore on the domestic market.
