Day 3 box office collection of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: Kartik Aaryan-Kiara Advani film crosses Rs 50 crore mark in first weekend, actor shares photos

Day 3 box office collection of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s horror comedy weekend total stands at Rs 55.96 crore.

The horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 starring Kartik Aaryan, Tabu, and Kiara Advani reportedly made Rs 23.51 crore on Sunday. After the first weekend, the box office collection for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 stands at Rs 55.96 crore, providing some relief to the Hindi film industry, which has recently seen a string of disappointments.

Previously, the film had a Friday opening of Rs 14.11 crore. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 brought in Rs 18.34 crore on Saturday. The film is light years ahead of Kangana Ranaut’s Dhaakad, which is turning out to be a flop. According to reports, the film’s two-day total is only Rs 1.50 crore, with many shows being cancelled due to low occupancy.

Its lead actor, Kartik Aaryan, posted on social media that he couldn’t get tickets for the weekend performance at Mumbai’s Gaiety theatre. “As actors, we long for this day…” This is a Housefull board!! Where I did not get the tickets, #BhoolBhulaiyaa2 is on fire. “Thank you, Audience,” he wrote.

Taran Adarsh, a trade analyst, had earlier tweeted the second-day figures. Bhool Bhulaiyy2 smashed the ball out of the park on Day 2 of the tournament. India’s economy continues to grow… Youngistaan and families, metros and populous enclaves, etc. The weekend brought in 55 million viewers [+/-] chance of exceeding cr… Sat 18.34 cr, Friday 14.11 cr. Total: 32.45 crore. #India business.”

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a spiritual sequel to Akshay Kumar’s 2007 film Bhool Bhulaiyaa. While Priyadarshan directed the original, Anees Bazmee is in charge this time. The film also stars Tabu and Rajpal Yadav in addition to Aaryan and Advani.
