After testing positive for narcotics, according to actor Shakti Kapoor, his son Siddhanth was just held and not jailed.
Actor Shakti Kapoor is in a state of shock after learning that his son, actor Siddhanth Kapoor, was arrested in Bengaluru for narcotics possession. Shakti told HT City in an exclusive interview after the news broke, “I’m in Mumbai and I have no idea what’s happening. I learned solely from news outlets. All I know at this time is that Siddhanth has been held and not arrested.”
The Bengaluru Police reportedly stormed a rave where 37-year-old Siddhanth was caught using narcotics, and he was subsequently tested.
When questioned whether Siddhanth was in Bengaluru for work, Shakti responds, “Yes, he is a DJ and performs at parties, which is why he was there. I have no idea where all these reports are coming from.”
Shakti is uncertain whether the party where his kid was playing was raided and six people were held, so he adds, “I will soon speak with my son to get the circumstances. This, however, cannot be true.”
Shakti’s daughter, actress Shraddha Kapoor, was summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for interrogation in a narcotics investigation that had acquired pace after the murder of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
