On Wednesday morning, Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez was photographed entering the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) Delhi headquarters. The actress was called by the investigative agency in connection with the extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar, which is worth Rs 200 crore. Because of this, Jacqueline Fernandez had to cancel her Dabangg tour after being held at the airport.
Jacqueline Fernandez was recently temporarily held by immigration officials at Mumbai Airport due to a lookout circular issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) against her in a money laundering case. She was eventually permitted to return home. Chandrasekar allegedly transferred ‘criminal gains’ to Jacqueline and her siblings, according to the ED investigation. Jacqueline had previously denied any financial ties to Chandrasekar in August. Several pictures of Jacqueline and Sukesh Chandrasekar had surfaced on the internet during this legal case. Jacqueline has been questioned by the Enforcement Directorate on several occasions in the past.
Jacqueline just concluded the Diu shoot for her forthcoming film ‘Ram Setu,’ in which she will star alongside Akshay Kumar. In Riyadh this week, the actress is slated to join Salman Khan’s Da-Bangg tour. Salman Khan is allegedly debating bringing her on the tour and may replace her with actress Daisy Shah, according to sources. There has, however, been no proof of this. Aayush Sharma, Prabhudeva, Sunil Grover, Saiee Manjrekar, Kamaal Khan, Shilpa Shetty, and others will join Salman on his trip this weekend.
The actress is also considering a career in the South. She is about to release a film with Sudeep Kiccha Sudeep. In the midst of it all, rumors are circulating that she may be replaced in Krish – Pawan Kalyan’s next film Hari Hara Veera Mallu. The producers are keeping a careful eye on the situation.
