Kangana Ranaut was all smiles when she landed at the Mumbai airport on Tuesday, but something about the photographs bothered admirers.
While she joyfully posed with a victory sign for the photographers stationed outside the terminal, the photos have now generated a fresh dispute among netizens. During the COVID-19 outbreak, many people resorted to social media to criticize the actress for not wearing a face mask.
In contrast to earlier footage from the paparazzo, Kangana was seen without a requisite ‘no mask, no admission’ sign at the airport. “No mask again in public areas… why doesn’t she be fined?” a person responded in the comments section.
“Waah No Mask No Entry ko kya ignore kiya gaya,” someone wrote in another thread. Jaise party vote baad janta ko karti hai (She has disregarded the “no mask, no entry” sign, exactly as political parties do after elections).
“No mask, no admission,” another inquired. “Is it only for regular people and not these celebrities?”
Kangana had tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this year and recovered in a matter of days after stating she would be quarantined. During the second wave in India, she was widely chastised for referring to the fatal virus as a “small-time flu.”
Kangana Ranaut is now riding high thanks to the success of her recently released film ‘Thalaivii.’ She has numerous projects in the works, including ‘Dhaakad,’ ‘Tejas,’ ‘Sita: The Incarnation,’ ‘Emergency,’ and ‘Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda.’
