Khushi Kapoor says Janhvi Kapoor told her to be calm before her ramp walk debut: Just instructed to be myself

Khushi Kapoor presented Gaurav Gupta’s Arunodaya collection during India Couture Week 2024. Before her runway debut, Kushi thought back on the guidance she got from her sister and actor Janhvi Kapoor.

Khushi Kapoor follows Janhvi Kapoor’s advise

Khushi Kapoor revealed that Janhvi had advised her to maintain a state of tranquilly, remain attentive, and immerse herself in the music. She just advised me to be myself and offered some brief pointers as well. Last year, Janhvi had walked the ramp for the designer’s Hiranyagarbha collection at India Couture Week, so setting a high standard for her younger sister.

Her alleged boyfriend, The Archies co-star Vedang Raina, walked next to Khushi. Walking the ramp for the amazing collection, the pair clearly had chemistry; their interactions on stage suggested a closer relationship and gave the evening a romantic touch.

In Zoya Akhtar’s Indian version of Archie Comics, which debuted on Netflix, Khushi Kapoor and Vedang made their debuts as Betty Cooper and Reggie Mantle, respectively. Among other actors in the movie were Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Yuvraj Menda, and Dot.

While walking the ramp alongside Vedang, Khushi expressed to PTI that being at ease with someone reduces the difficulty and nervousness, as one feels secure in the presence of the other person. The crew felt at ease with Vedang and her since they had known each other for some time, which translated to a more relaxed atmosphere on set and in their friendship. Surely, we would want to film something.
