Actor R Madhavan has spoken about two veteran actors he admires: Clint Eastwood and Amitabh Bachchan. Madhavan stated in a new interview that while Clint is ‘breaking rules,’ Amitabh has managed to stay relevant.’ He also mentioned how his recent film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect was ‘well-researched’ and made ‘with authenticity in mind.’
He also discussed what makes him feel good as an actor. Madhavan stated that if his audience only sees the character he plays in a film and not him, he is satisfied. He also stated that he does not make films for awards consideration.
“Clint Eastwood and Amitabh Bachchan are two people I follow seriously,” Madhavan said in an interview with Tribune India. At 91, Clint Eastwood is still making movies, breaking rules, and winning Oscars. Amitabh sir, too, has always remained relevant.”
“It’s a film that has been made with authenticity in mind,” the actor said of Rocketry. There were no graphics or prosthetics used, the weight loss or gain was natural, and everything was thoroughly researched, which takes time.
