MIMI’S PROFILE
By Bollywood standards, Mimi’s story is unique. Kriti Sanon plays a young surrogate mother in the film. The actress had previously told IANS about the film, “I’m extremely enthusiastic. It’s about a little girl who aspires to be an actress, and it’s based on the issue of surrogacy. She’s a Mandawa dancer who ends up being a surrogate mother for a couple. The events that follow alter her life and transform her as a person.”
Mimi is Kriti Sanon’s second collaboration with Laxman Utekar as a filmmaker. They previously collaborated on the film Luka Chuppi, which also stars Kartik Aaryan. In addition to Kriti, Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Supriya Tripathi, and Manoj Pahwa star in the film.
