On the birth anniversary of her late father, Dr. Ashok Chopra, Priyanka Chopra posted a hitherto unseen picture from her childhood. The photograph depicts the father and daughter playing in the snow during their holiday in Kashmir. Priyanka is adorably attired in woolens from head to toe as she laughs while gazing at her father.
Priyanka posted the picture on Instagram with the words, “Happy birthday, dad. We miss you very much. Everyday.” In addition, she included a crimson heart emoji. Nick Jonas, her husband, and a singer, also posted a heart emoji in the comments area.
Hina Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Anshula Kapoor also responded to the tweet with a heart emoji. A fan remarked, “Your little smile is ridiculously adorable.” Another user remarked, “This is the most wonderful photograph; happy birthday to your father in paradise!” Another fan said, “You look identical.”
Priyanka is the elder sibling of two. She has a tight relationship with her mother, Dr. Madhu Chopra, and brother, Siddharth Chopra. Cancer killed her father in 2013
During an interview on Oprah Winfrey’s show Super Soul, the actor once discussed her father’s death from cancer. She said her relationship with God changed following his death, saying, “I was quite angry around the time of my father’s passing. My relationship with God evolved slightly. However, I also feel that God assisted me in finding salvation and escaping the situation. But it was tested at the time.”
She went on to say, “Oh man, I visited every time there was to visit in an attempt to heal him of cancer.” I prayed every prayer possible. I met every godman or godwoman I needed to meet and visited every doctor I required. I traveled my father to Singapore, New York, Europe, and India, as well as everywhere else, to prolong his life. It’s such a feeling of helplessness.”
Priyanka presently resides in Los Angeles with Nick Jonas and their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. Her mother has assisted her in raising her daughter.
