Ranbir Kapoor has previously stated that he is excellent with children. He mentioned his cousins Armaan Jain and Aadar Jain, as well as his niece Samara Sahni.
Actor Ranbir Kapoor has revealed his relationship with children, just days after wife-actor Alia Bhatt revealed that the couple is expecting their first child. Ranbir revealed in a new interview that his cousins Armaan Jain and Aadar Jain were like his “tail” when he was growing up. He went on to say that they ‘worshipped’ him and that he was probably ‘good to them.’ Ranbir discussed his relationship with his niece Samara, the daughter of his sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahani. However, Ranbir has stated that he does not want to be addressed as uncle and prefers to be addressed as ‘RK,’ his initials.
Reema Kapoor and Manoj Jain’s children are Armaan and Aadar Jain. Ranbir’s father, late actor Rishi Kapoor, is Reema’s sister. Riddhima and her husband Bharat Sahni have one child, Samara. As recently as last week, Alia posted a picture of herself and Ranbir in a hospital room on Instagram. They both looked at the monitor beside them. Alia Bhatt captioned the photo with the phrase “Our baby…..coming soon.”
Ranbir Kapoor was asked by Mashable India how good he is with children. “I’d like to think so,” he said. I’m not sure if I’m good or not, but when my two younger cousins’ brothers Armaan and Aadar were born, they were like my tail. They followed me everywhere I went, and they truly worshipped me. So I guess I was helpful to them.”
In addition to this, he said, “I have a niece named Samara who is 11 years old and lives in Delhi. She is a little reserved.” My relationship with her as a child was one of the most special in my life. She’s now at that awkward age where boys are a little… But I’d like to think I’m close to children. I am the cool uncle, but I dislike being addressed as such. I tell them, ‘Call me RK,’ because I don’t give an uncle tag…just enough distance to make people think I’m cool. RK has a nice ring to it, and I don’t want people to think I’m getting old. Simply call me RK.”
Ranbir was asked about tattoos in another segment of the same interview, and he said he didn’t have any yet. He also stated that he might tattoo the number ‘8’ or that ‘perhaps my (tattoo) will be children’s names.’
