Rani Mukherji last appeared on the big screen in Mardaani 2 in 2019. Yash Raj Films was responsible for the film’s production. Rani is now working on Bunty Aur Babli 2, a Yash Raj film. Bunty Aur Babli 2 stars Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Sharvari Wagh, and Rani, and is a sequel to the 2005 film Bunty Aur Babli. The film was set to hit theatres on April 23, 2021. The manufacturers have chosen to postpone the release due to an increase in Covid-19 instances across the country and the fact that theatres are yet to open in Maharashtra and several other Indian states. A new release date has not yet been set.
