The reprise version of the famous song Rasiya from the film Brahmastra was released on Friday, four weeks after the film’s debut. Fans praised Arijit Singh’s vocals in the revised version, which he sang. Many also noted that it had a deleted scene from the film, including Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the key roles.
Alia uploaded the video to Instagram on Friday evening to share it with her admirers. The video has a deleted scene from the film in which Alia is seen wearing an orange costume with huge earrings and a floral background. In a parallel scene, the character Ranbir emerges from a Durga puja pandal. Rasiya was originally performed by Shreya Ghoshal and Tushar Joshi.
Numerous admirers deemed this version preferable, complimenting Arijit’s vocals. One fan remarked, “Arijit’s voice is always heartfelt. Living legend.” A further fan remarked, “Arijit Singh is the brahmastra of the Indian music industry.” Many fans used heart emojis to express their admiration for Arijit’s voice, while others applauded the unseen cut scene.
After seven years of production, Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra was released on September 9 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. It marks the first time Ranbir and Alia have worked together. After working together on the film, the couple began dating and wed in April of this year. Together, they are currently expecting their first child.
Brahmastra was a box office hit, grossing over 410 crores in four weeks at the global box office. It is also the year’s highest-grossing Hindi film, surpassing The Kashmir Files, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and Alia’s own Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Alia will next be seen alongside Gal Gadot in the upcoming Hollywood film Heart of Stone. Netflix will release the picture. Alongside Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Ranveer Singh, she also has Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film is directed by Karan Johar and is scheduled for release in 2023.
