On Sunday, Ayan Mukerji finally attended the Durga Puja festivities. He was sighted visiting the Juhu pandal, which also hosted Rani Mukerji, Rupali Ganguly, and her family, among other celebrities. Rupali Ganguly presently plays the title role in the popular television program Anupamaa. Her companions were her husband Ashwin K. Verma and her son Rudraksha.
Rupali attended the Saptami Puja while wearing a silk orange and green saree. She was observed conversing with Ayan, who was wearing a beige kurta-pajama, as the group posed for photographs. Rupali’s husband and son were also visible in the photograph.
Ayan was also observed interacting with his cousin Kajol, who attended the event with her mother Tanuja, sister Tanishaa Mukerji, and son Yug Devgan. Kajol and Ayan conversed while seated in front of the idol.
Recently, Ayan’s highly anticipated fantasy drama Brahmastra Part One: Shiva was released to mediocre reviews. The film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt has grossed 248 crores at the Indian box office. Before the film’s premiere, Ayan accompanied the film’s leading actors on a nationwide promotional tour. In the next years, anotherinstallmentt in the franchise will be released.
Rani also made her annual presence at the pandal on the same day. She was dressed in a green and blue silk saree and wore her hair in a bun with a gajra. She posed for selfies with Sumona Chaktravarti, who is known for her role on The Kapil Sharma Show, in front of a statue of Durga.
Throughout the day, Kajol also released a video of herself and Yug serving visitors prasad. Yug was spotted serving prasad while she was seen holding the bowl. Kajol posted the video to Instagram along with the caption, “So proud of my son serving at the puja errors and all.. the tradition continues… #durgapuja #proudmom #blessed Saturday, Kajol and Tanishaa also visited the pandal.
