After the Baahubali films, Sharad Kelkar is expected to provide Prabhas’s voice in Adipurush. Recently, Sharad discussed his second collaboration with Prabhas.
Kelkar stated of Adipurush in an interview, “I am very thrilled for Adipurush. It reunites me with Om (director Om Raut) after Tanhaji. And to be the voice of Shri Ram is a source of pride for anybody in India. I am lucky enough to be Shri Ram’s voice, and this opportunity was made possible by Om. I hope that Shri Ram will provide me with more strength to perform successfully.”
The Adipurush trailer was released a few days ago, and critics have criticized the visual effects and Saif Ali Khan’s portrayal of Raavan.
Sharad Kelkar also commented on the film Baahubali, stating, “Baahubali gave me a new viewpoint as an actor and showed that even the voice can have such an influence. I have the adverbial title of “Baahubali’s voice.” It is always exciting to be a part of such a large film, and that was the greatest joy. I also had the opportunity to work with Rajamouli sir, which was my greatest accomplishment.”
Sharad Kelkar is now preparing for the release of his upcoming Marathi film, Har Har Mahadev. The film also includes Subodh Bhave, Amruta Khanvilkar, and Sayli Sanjeev in significant parts. The film is scheduled to debut in theatres on October 25.
