Shehnaaz Gill established herself as ‘Punjab ki Katrina Kaif’ after she debuted on the reality show Bigg Boss 13 in 2019. Soon after the show concluded, she gained a massive fan base, with various fan clubs supporting her on social media. And the actor-singer is unafraid to remark, “Mene apni mehnat se kamaya hai yeh sab Kuch.”
She claims that “nothing has come to me immediately or sooner than time” I suppose that if something engages you too soon, it will go too rapidly. I’m working hard and will continue to do so because I want to deserve more of this affection.”
On May 7, Gill traveled to Gurugram to participate in a Brahma Kumaris marketing campaign for woman-baby empowerment. She provided as many as 500 selfies and images to the admirer who had come to meet her. And before she left, she made a point of asking everyone, “Are you happy?” Satisfied?”
Mention how odd it is for performers to be so patient, and Gill responds, “Only if my fans are happy will I obtain happiness since they are the ones that support me at all hours of the day or night. For people who love me to like me again, I must first win them back.
Gill, who was already a well-known name in the Punjabi entertainment industry, became a phenomenon and a national family name after appearing on Bigg Boss. When asked how things have changed since that time, she or he says, “I believe I’m the same.” Purity toh identical hey hai, but I’ve progressed much in terms of my knowledge and how I interpret things. Baki major tab best thi, ab best hoon.”
While she has relocated to Mumbai (from Punjab) and hopes to work in Bollywood, she insists that she will always remain connected to her origins.”You can tell I’m Punjabi by the way I speak. It never leaves you, no matter where you live, where you came from, or where you started your trip. Mumbai has its allure; it is the city of dreams. It was her goal to go back into the film industry, and she’s thrilled to be living in Mumbai today.
Though Mumbai hasn’t changed Gill much, her fashion and style choices have evolved recently. Her airport appearances and glamorous photoshoots have created quite a stir. “Fashion comes effortlessly to me, and it’s something instinctive,” Gill adds before adding, “Before I had limited wages, so I styled accordingly.” Also, I wasn’t comfortable in denim back then since not everyone can carry them with such weight. Many do it superbly, but mere se nahi ho paa Raha that, thus I used to be mostly tight and in fits. But now that I’m generating more money, I’m able to model myself higher.”
Gill also offers a message of body positivity to individuals who often let other people’s perceptions influence how they seem to be. Stay emotionally and physically strong, and everything will fall into place. “Bas ghabrana Nahi hai,” she concludes with a compassionate phrase.
