The first trailer for Shiddat Movie, a forthcoming romance film, is now available. Sunny Kaushal, who most recently appeared in Akshay Kumar’s Gold (2018), and Radhika Madan, who most recently appeared in late Irrfan Khan’s Angrezi Medium (2020), feature in the film, which shows how love can be a whirlwind trip for young passionate lovers. Shiddat, which is generally linked with love, maybe loosely translated as intensity, passion, or severity.

Shiddat, at least based on the trailer, appears to be similar to many other Hindi films we’ve watched and offers nothing in the way of originality. Kartika, Kaushal’s hero, appears to be the same, flirtatious and callous-appearing man with a golden heart, while Radhika portrays a more sensitive girlfriend who is awestruck by how different he is.

However, the movie’s overwhelming emphasis on romance may make viewers uneasy because what is depicted as love in the teaser might be seen as an unhealthy fixation in the real world.
