Actor Taha Shah Badussha caught the curiosity of his followers when he uploaded a picture on social media with Raazi actress Soni Razdan, who was just shooting in the picturesque setting of Kashmir. According to sources, Taha Shah and Soni were in Kashmir filming a music video on a mother’s love for her kid and their deep connection to the valley.
“I feel happy that I could film with Soni Ji, in a video where she plays my mother,” Taha says when questioned about his experience working with Razdan. She reminded me a lot of my mother. She exudes an incredible amount of energy and a motherly tenderness. It has the ability to soothe even the most restless nerves. Her presence radiated across the stage. Being a Kashmiri myself, it was fascinating to hear some of her undiscovered stories from the valley. I’m excited to work with her again!”
“My tryst with Kashmir has largely been through viewing film and the internet until I visited it recently,” he says of shooting in Kashmir. I didn’t realize the genuine essence and ethereal, timeless beauty that resonates with a sheer atmosphere of mysticism. Kashmir stuns, numbs, and draws you into an almost divine, mesmerizing appeal like no other location, whether it’s the crystal blue lakes or the untamed valleys, the gushing glacier-fed rivers, or the coniferous tree-covered mountains. It’s unique and unexplainable. I filmed in Dal Lake, Gulmarg, and a number of other sites, and I’d want to return, this time for a longer stay and a vacation with my family.”
Danish Renzu, who recently directed Life Of Pi actor Suraj Sharma in the Hollywood film The Illegal, directed the song video (2020). We can’t wait to see this number, which has Shankar Mahadevan and Archana Kamath Hegdekar on the playback, Sunayana Kachroo on the lyrics, and Archana Kamath Hegdekar on the music.
