Vijay Varma seemed to be enjoying his recent vacation to Varanasi, at least on the surface. Following the completion of one of his most anticipated films, ‘Darlings,’ starring Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah, the actor headed to Uttar Pradesh to begin filming for his next unnamed movie. Vijay spent his time in Varanasi exploring the gorgeous ghats, doing Ganga aarti, and sampling local cuisine, as shown in the photos.
“I traveled for Uttar Pradesh the next day after finishing the filming for ‘Darlings.’ I’m now shooting in Varanasi, and on my first day off, I went to the city’s most famous temple to express appreciation for all the benefits I’ve received this year and to seek blessings for the forthcoming series. I went to the Kashi Vishwanath temple, which houses one of Shiv Ji’s twelve Jyotirlinga shrines. It was also a remarkable experience for me to conduct the Rudra Abhishek puja and be a part of the famous Ganga aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat.”
“Not only that… Varanasi has also tickled my taste senses; my team and I ate at the famed street food establishment, Vishwanath Chaat Bhandar, and treated ourselves to some delectable Pani puri and chaat, topped off with the city’s distinctive Thandai. Overall, I’d say it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I’m having a great time here in Varanasi,” the actor says.
Vijay Varma has a fantastic filmography under his belt. Aside from ‘Darlings,’ the actor will be featured in ‘Hurdang,’ a web series directed by Reema Kagti, opposite Nushrratt Bharucha and Sunny Kaushal, and ‘Fallen,’ a web series directed by Reema Kagti, opposite Nushrratt Bharucha and Sunny Kaushal.
