Kangana Ranaut resorted to Instagram to respond to Bollywood celebrities revealing their next film release dates. Kangana Ranaut takes a dig at ‘Bollywoodias’ with Amitabh Bachchan’s song, says big studios and mafia make trashy films but get big numbers.
“Dumb bollywoodias sleeping for months on end now suddenly announcing release dates as if people have nothing better to do than watch their tacky films,” she tweeted, without naming anyone.
She went on to say, “It’s a good time for people like us, we don’t get a solo release, we don’t find enough screens, and even if we do, we don’t get good shows, big studios and the mafia have complete control over exhibitors and multiplexes, the only thing we rely on is good content, that’s how I’ve made it this far… With the current circumstances, I can’t help but sign Great B’s song to all mafias who make rubbish films but make big money due to monopolies and manipulations… So, here’s the song for all of you…”
“This is a transformative time for the film industry, only good content will survive….so actually it’s not a bad time at all…It’s time for social cleansing Old empires will fall and new ones will arise” she signed off. Amitabh Bachchan’s song, Kangana Ranaut fun at ‘Bollywoodias.’
Kangana recently starred in the film ‘Thalaivii,’ which was released in theatres and on the OTT platform within two weeks of each other. “Thalaivii came in troubled times several states were shut we weren’t allowed multiplexes release and Tamilnaduuu hardly had 50% occupancy,” she had earlier stated. It was only a partial ott release, with no digital promotion, but nothing can stop a brilliant film… with Amma’s blessings, Thalaivii is breaking records.”
Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming films include “Dhaakad,” “Tejas,” “Sita: The Incarnation,” “Emergency,” and “Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda.”
